Wattic launched in April 2026 and is still under development. Feedback is welcome — there are bound to be small inconsistencies here and there.
Using the site
- Average
- The Average buttons in the top bar set the length of the rolling average (1 day – 1 year).
- Period
- The Period presets and the date fields in the top bar set the time range shown.
- Choosing series
- The buttons above each chart pick which series are shown. A long press solos one and hides the rest.
- Clicking one band of a stacked bar shows only that band — nuclear across the years, say. Clicking it again brings the rest back.
Data
- Fingrid
- Finnish total electricity production and consumption from 2004, production types and cross-border transfers from 2014.
- Sähkötin
- Finnish price data from 2013.
- Statistics Finland
- Electricity supply, consumption and consumer prices as long time series.
- ENTSO-E
- European day-ahead electricity prices by bidding zone from 2015.
- Elexon
- UK market index price (MID, APX). Converted to EUR/MWh at a fixed rate of 1 GBP = 1.17 EUR.
